Occupational safety and health management and audit
ECCL promotes the safety and health of workers by offering advisory services and undertaking of audits of work places. This helps our clients to ensure effective management systems are always in place to prevent ill health conditions, occupational diseases and accidents and property loss through damages through accidents in work places so as to enable our clients achieve optimal profits through low production cost and maximum worker’s productivity. The firm has qualified human personnel on safety and health advisory/ audit who are registered with the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health services (DOSHS), under the Ministry of Labor.
The firm works in accordance with the OSH Act of parliament, 2004 to achieve the following;
- Occupational health and safety training/ advisory
- Monitoring the activities of safety and health committees at work places
- Health and safety audits
- Medical examination of workers to establish any relationship between occupational diseases and work environment and recommendation of remedial measures
ECCL carries out the training as the safety and health committee rules curriculum issued by the DOSHS.
