The Approach

ECCL has an approach that has the capacity to successfully undertaken various assignments in her field of specialization. The approach employs participatory and consultative techniques that tap on stakeholder’s inputs to reports reflects the desires and aspirations of the organization and other projects affected persons.

Organization of Studies

A team of lead experts, associate experts, technical specialists in engineering, hydrology, forestry, sociologists among others depending on the scope and   nature of consultancy usually undertakes the assignments to ensure the clients assignments are undertake up to the agreed standards.

Professional Team

The firms select teams to undertake any available assignment from our clients in consideration of managerial and technical aspects of all team members to be involved in every assignment due.

Field Supervisor

The field supervisor is usually in charge of managing data collection activities of the associate experts and other technical staff members. He/she possess a strong background and a rich work experience in similar duties and responsibilities of environmental impact assessments/ solid waste management/ occupational health and safety management and audit. He/she has good organizational and communication skills to be able to coordinate the team well and excellent supervision. He/ she is responsible for liaison and Communication with Lead experts, associate experts among other technical officers undertaking various projects. The person also receives completed interview tools and ensures they are complete; Submit the interview tools to the statistician; and Prepare evaluation progress reports to team leader.

Associate lead experts/ research assistants

The associate expert undertakes field tasks of data collection through administering of questionnaires, field observations among use of other tools in data collection. he/ she works together with all other team members to ensure the assignments are undertaken up to set standards. The individuals have excellent communication skills.

Reporting Mechanism

The firm works in close cooperation with all relevant stakeholders in all projects e.g.  government departments and institutions, private sector organization and local communities to ensure success of all projects by address any arising pertinent issues amicably and factoring the views of all stakeholders accordingly in all reports.
